Business Insider reports that some Amazon drivers want customers to stop meeting them at the door to receive their packages, to help reduce the spread of coronavirus.
An anonymous Amazon driver said, "They don't know what we have because we are traveling so much, and we don't know what they have."
The Centers for Disease Control has said that coronavirus can spread through respiratory droplets and between people in close contact.
Another Amazon driver added "If they see us and want to wave, that's fine... But for their safety and ours, it would be best for them to wait until we leave."
To stay healthy and safe, some of the drivers that Business Insider interviewed said that they're wearing gloves and wiping down surfaces in their trucks.
One driver admitted that she is spraying cleaning fluid on her gloves after every delivery.
