Congress on Tuesday raised questions over the nomination of former CJI Ranjan Gogoi to the Rajya Sabha. The Congress believes that after sending Ranjan Gogoi to the Rajya Sabha, a question mark has arisen over the independence of the judiciary across the country. Congress leader Randeep Surjewala said that what the government wants to say is, become a lawman or a judge or become a judge.
