This supermarket in east London looks like a battle zone as shoppers stock up on goods amid panic buying due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Cardboard boxes and goods can be seen on the floor in the aisle of the Asda supermarket as shoppers with full trolleys queue up shortly before midnight on Thursday.
"Panic buying due to the coronavirus at an Asda [supermarket] in east London at 11;30pm at night," wrote the filmer, a resident of east London. "Many items was in short supply but the most staggering thing was the unprecedented queues at night [and[ of trolleys packed full of goods.
Further footage captured on Thursday at a branch of Tesco supermarket near Manor Park shows shelves left empty.
