Canceled Due to Coronavirus Fears A discussion about the virus was to be held this week
by the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR),
a nonprofit think tank. It has now been canceled over concerns that
the roundtable could help spread the disease. In-person meetings by the council have also been
canceled around the U.S. until April 3. CFR, via website Besides this discussion, a number of other
New York events have been axed
or delayed because of the virus. Most recently, April's
New York International Auto Show
has been pushed to August. According to CBS News, New York currently has
at least 173 confirmed cases of the coronavirus.
