This is the heartwarming moment a schoolgirl was seen riding a bicycle back home while carrying trash to be recycled. Passing motorcyclist Jithathai Chaiyathep noticed the youngster while she was riding home from a flea market with her husband on January 21 in Pathum Thani, central Thailand. The video shows the determined nine-year-old girl, known locally as Jenny, cycling home while struggling with four bags - three on the handle bars and one on the back in the pillion position. Jithathai said the girl often collects the leftover cans and bottles on her way home from school then sells them to local recycling centres to raise extra cash for her family. Filmer Jithathai said: "Jenny is a lovely girl who always shares her family's burden. I think this video shows just how big the gap is in Thailand between rich and poor in society. ''She lives in the neighbourhood so everybody knows her and her family from seeing them around the area. ''Jenny often carries the rubbish home with her so it can be recycled.'' For the cans and bottles Jenny is carrying in the video, the family will receive around 50 baht (1.25gbp) when they are weighed in at the recycling depot.
