India captain Virat Kohli's childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma on Monday defended his ward's on-field demeanour, saying he never crossed the thin line between aggression and misbehaviour. "When he (Kohli) is doing well with same aggression for the country, then everyone appreciates. I have always believed that yes, aggression is his strength, but there is a thin line between aggression and 'battamizi' (misbehaviour). He never crosses that line, and he should not. Aggression pumps him up to do well," Sharma told a group of reporters here.


खराब दौर से गुजर रहे हैं कोहली. शायद छह सालों बाद ऐसा ऐसा पहली बार हुआ है, जब विराट कोहली का आत्मविश्वास इस तरीके से डगमगाया है. इतना निराश कोहली को इससे पहले कभी नहीं देखा गया था. शायद इंग्लैंड दौरे से भी ज्यादा निराशाजनक कोहली के लिए न्यूजीलैंड दौरा रहा. 2013-2014 के इंग्लैंड दौरे पर तो सिर्फ जिम्मी एन्डरसन ने कोहली पर दबदबा बनाया था. लेकिन, न्यूजीलैंड दौरे पर कोहली सभी गेंदबाजों के सामने चारो खाने चित्त हो गए. टी20 सीरीज में कीवी को सफाया करने के बाद खुद टीम इंडिया का सूपड़ा साफ़ मेजबानों ने कर दिया. टेस्ट में 2-0 और तीन मैचों की वनडे सीरीज में भी क्लीन स्वीप किया. कोहली को खूब आलोचना झेलने पड़ रही है. इसके लिए वो खुद जिम्मेदार हैं. न कोहली का बल्ला चला और न ही कप्तानी में कुछ कर पाए.
