The death toll in northeast Delhi violence over the citizenship amendment law rose to 22 on Wednesday afternoon. Delhi Police and paramilitary forces marched in the violence-hit areas and appealed to the people for peace. An IB officer also died during the stone pelting at Chand Bagh.
