Sporadic rainfall in a hilly region of north India led to a mountain road collapsing in northern India.
The incident took place on the Haldwani-Haidakhan road, Uttarakhand state, on February 24.
After prolonged rain, footage shot from nearby shows the road cracking and eventually collapsing into the valley below.
Due to the collapse the route, that connects to at least 80 villages, has been obstructed for a stretch of 40 km.
The road administration is reportedly yet to send the required machinery to open the road.
