Falgun Amavasya is on 23 February this time. On this day, offering of ancestors for peace brings peace to their souls. Also, bathing in sacred rivers on this day also has special significance. पंडितों का मानना है कि यदि फाल्गुन अमावस्या के दिन पितरों के निमित्त तर्पण किया जाए तो साल भर की अमावस्या के तर्पण का लाभ मिल जाता है। बता दें कि जिस तरह से पूजन का शुभ मुहूर्त होता है ठीक उसी प्रकार से फाल्गुन अमावस्या के दिन पितरों का तर्पण करने का भी शुभ मुहूर्त हैं। इस शुभ मुहूर्त में पितरों का तर्पण करना ज्यादा लाभदायी होता है।
