International Mother Language Day is celebrated every year on 21 February. The aim of which is to spread awareness about its language and culture around the world. UNESCO announced on 17 November 1999 to celebrate the international mother tongue. Since then, it is celebrated every year on 21 February.

इंटरनेशनल मदर लैंग्वेज डे हर साल 21 फरवरी को सेलिब्रेट किया जाता है। जिसका मकसद दुनियाभर में अपनी भाषा और संस्कृति के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाना है। यूनेस्को ने 17 नवंबर 1999 को अंतरराष्ट्रीय मातृभाषा मनाए जाने की घोषणा की थी। तब से लेकर हर साल 21 फरवरी को इसे मनाया जाता है।
