Ingredients for the recipe
2 cup fine semolina/suji
1/2 cup All purpose flour/ maida
1 tsp baking powder
1 pinch salt/namak
1/3 cup oil + 1/3 cup butter/makhan
1/2 cup condensed milk
1 cup powdered sugar/pisi hui cheeni(can be adjusted according to your taste)
250 ml milk/doodh at room temperature
Chopped dry fruit mixture:-
2 tbsp Almonds/badaam
2 tbsp cashew nut/kaju
2 tbsp pistachios/pista
2 tbsp brown raisins/kishmish
2 tbsp dates/khajoor
1 tsp oil for greasing tin
Utensils required:-
2 mixing bowl
1 spatula
1 whisk
1 cake tin
1 brush to grease tin
1 knife
Extra things:-
Piece of butter paper according to size of cake tin
Toothpick to check
OTG for baking or can be baked on gas stove using same process
Notes: Use all the things at room temperature only.
Always use proper measuring cups and spoons for perfect measurement.
Check in between while baking to avoid burning and sticking.
Do not use local and open stuff,always use branded packed stuff.
Every OTG bakes at different levels of heating and differ from each other so manage accordingly.
