Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted an old picture of Union Minister Smriti Irani and took a swipe at the ruling BJP over increase in cooking gas prices on Wednesday, steepest since January 4, 2014.
'I agree with these members of the BJP as they protest the astronomical 150 Rs price hike in LPG cylinders, Rahul Gandhi wrote and shared an old picture where Ms Irani is seen protesting against the Congress-led UPA government over increase in prices of LPG cylinders.

गैस सिलेंडर के दाम में 150 रुपये इजाफा करने करने पर कांग्रेस सांसद राहुल गांधी ने मोदी सरकार पर तंज कसा है। इसको लेकर राहुल गांधी ने केंद्रीय मंत्री स्मृति ईरानी की एक पुरानी फोटो ट्वीट की है। जिसमें स्मृति ईरानी गैस सिलेंडर के साथ सड़क पर प्रदर्शन करती नज़र आ रही हैं। दरअसल मनमोहन सरकार के वक्त 2014 में गैस सिलेंडर के दाम बढ़ने पर बीजेपी ने जोरदार विरोध प्रदर्शन किया था और स्मृति ईरानी गैस सिलेंडर लेकर बीजेपी कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ सड़क पर उतरी थीं।
