Lionel RIchie created his own perfume and named it after his hit song, “Hello.” Richie said perfume not only influences our moods and memories but also impacts day-to-day life. According to Allure, he said while he always loved fragrance, he didn’t have the tools to create his ideal scent. He compared the fragrance business with music, saying there’s more notes in creating a perfume than a song.
