U.S. Marines work alongside the Japanese Ground-Self Defense Force on the Light Armored Vehicle range in Hokudaien, Japan in support of Northern Viper.

Northern Viper is a combined-joint exercise held to enhance regional cooperation between participating nations to collectively deter security threats. The Marines are with, Dragoons Company, 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force.
