Meanwhile, senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has given a shocking statement. He blamed the firing in Shaheen Bagh for the low turnout in Delhi. Tharoor said that there was less voter turnout in Delhi elections. The reason for this could be the firing in Shaheen Bagh.

दिल्ली में शनिवार को हुए विधानसभा चुनाव में करीब 62 फीसदी मतदान हुआ है. साल 2014 विधानसभा चुनाव के मुकाबले इस बार 5 फीसदी कम वोटिंग हुई है. इस बीच कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता शशि थरूर ने चौंकाने वाला बयान दिया है. उन्होंने दिल्ली में हुए कम मतदान के लिए शाहीन बाग में हुई फायरिंग को जिम्मेदार ठहराया है. थरूर ने कहा कि दिल्ली चुनाव में कम वोटर टर्नआउट रहा. इसका कारण शाहीन बाग में हुई फायरिंग हो सकता है.
