This was found in the stacks of the main library at New York University by one of the staff members. It's got a simple premise:

1 - Time travel is real (because "Everything is Information")
2 - Terminators are real
3 - Terminators are now coming to kill you for having seen the video
4 - To save yourself, leave ads in the "seven major newspapers" on one day a year, telling the Eternal Survivors WHERE and WHEN you will be at any given point in your life, so that they can find you and you can join the revolution.

The distribution method for such things was pretty complex in the days before Youtube and Twitter. It's safe to assume that additional copies were filed in the stacks of other college libraries, and that NYU was chosen because it has such a generic, major-sounding name. Unfortunately, I've been unable to find any more information about this group.
