A factory worker was shocked after going to the bathroom and finding a COBRA in the toilet.
Lalita Mansorn, 28, was about to sit on the loo before taking a shower when the serpent reared up at her.
She ran screaming from the cubicle in Pathum Thani, central Thailand on Thursday January 30.
Rescue workers arrived and used a snake catching rod to snare the 3ft long serpent, which they successfully removed after a 20 minute struggle.
Lalita said she was shocked when she saw the snake - but was even more scared when she realised it was a monocled cobra, one of the deadliest in the world.
She said: "After the snake came up through the toilet I quickly slammed the door and peeked back inside to see what it was.
"I was even more shocked to see that the snake was a cobra, so I thought it would be best to call the rescue group.''
The cobra was put into a sack to be driven away and released back into the wild.
