Director Kabir Khan, who began his film-making career with documentary films, made his Bollywood debut with the John Abraham and Arshad Warsi starrer Kabul Express in 2006. This was followed by another John Abraham starrer - New York in 2009. The film also had Katrina Kaif and Neil Nitin Mukesh in lead roles. Khan then went on to make super-hits like Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan with Salman Khan. In 2015, he worked with Saif Ali Khan in Phantom, and eventually reunited with Salman Khan for Tubelight in 2017. Kabir Khan is currently working with Ranveer Singh for the upcoming sports-biopic '83, based on Kapil Dev's captaincy in the 1983 cricket world-cup.
