Yes I went to New Zealand and yes it’s as pristine and beautiful and breathtaking and fake life as you’d think. Biggest surprise? There’s no culture shock. Easy as hell to acclimate. Everybody speaks English, listens to the same music, watches the same movies, tells similar jokes. It’s fantastic. Only issue? Driving on the other side of the road. I survived but there were some serious armrest-clinchers. Like dozens of them. Maybe hundreds.
Kauri Cliffs was commissioned by an American developer and opened in 2004, so you get New Zealand views with American-like course conditions. Green. Luscious. I’m yet to play a golf course with more stunning views start to finish, range to 19th hole.
