शिरडी साई बाबा में किसी भी व्यक्ति को बिना जाति-पात किए दर्शन हो जाते हैं। माना जाता है कि शिरडी साई बाबा की कर्मस्थली होने के साथ-साथ यही देह त्याग किया था। जिस कारण हर साल लाखों लोग दर्शन करने के लिए शिरडी पहुंचते है। हर गुरुवार को भक्तों की लंबी लाइन लगती है। क्योंकि साई बाबा को चमत्कारी मानी जाता है। कुछ समय पहले साई बाबा की जाति को लेकर मुद्दा सामने आया था। जो ठंडा ही हुआ था कि एक ओर विवाद सामने आ गया है। महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे से अपने भाषण में साई की जन्मभूमि का नाम पाथरी बताया है। जो शिरडी से करीब 275 किलोमीटर दूर है। जिसके साथ ही विवाद शुरु हो गया है। दरअसल शिरडी साई ट्रस्ट के कार्यकर्ता इस बयान का काफी विरोध कर रहे है। वह पाथरी के विकास के दिए 100 करोड़ रुपए के लिए नहीं बल्कि साई की जन्मभूमि को लेकर कहना उचित नहीं समझते है। यह विदा इतना ज्यादा बढ़ गया कि शिरडी साईं ट्रस्ट ने इस मंदिर को रविवार से अनिश्चित काल के लिए बंद करने का फैसला ले लिया है। मंदिर बंद करने से पहले शनिवार को एक सभा का आयोजन किया जाएगा। शिरडी खुलने के बाद अगर आप जाने की सोच रहे है तो पहले जान लें कैसे और कहां-कहां घूमने का है स्थान।
