Now, Bollywood director Vidhu Vinod Chopra has made the film 'Shikara' on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. Through the film, the pain of Kashmiri Pandits has been put in front of the world.

कश्मीरी पंडितों को कश्मीर घाटी छोड़े आज 30 साल हो गए। 19 जनवरी 1990 को कश्मीरी पंडितों को घाटी छोड़ने की धमकी दी गई। देखते ही देखते हजारों कश्मीरी पंडितों ने घाटी छोड़ दी। कश्मीरी पंडितों के पलायन पर बॉलीवुड डायरेक्टर विधु विनोद चोपड़ा ने 'शिकारा' फिल्म बनाई है। फिल्म के जरिए कश्मीरी पंडितों के दर्द को दुनिया के सामने रखा गया है।
