The Preds shitcanned their coach of 5.5 seasons Peter Laviolette then promptly got shelled in their first game without the bench boss who led the franchise to its lone Stanley Cup Final appearance. But expect a much different effort from Nashville tonight under the new guy, John Hynes.
Chicago is starting Corey Crawford and, as of this writing, we still don’t know who is starting for the Preds. The Preds’ starter doesn’t matter much because there’s no negligible difference between the duo lately. But Crawford rather than Robin Lehner means the puck line will be in play as well as the money line. So we are on the Nashville Predators -139 for 695 to make 500 and -1.5 +185 for 250 to make 463.
Looking ahead to Saturday, the Flyers have been absolute monsters at home this season. But Tampa has been one of the league’s better road teams and it looks like they righted the ship as they’re also the hottest team in the league as well. This should be one of the better games on Saturday and we’ll be riding the Lightning. Due to the game being two days away, the lines are not up yet but my action will be posted in this space in an updated blog on Saturday so check back here in 48 hours.
