Lawyer Mohd Khairul Azam Abdul Aziz today boasted that his letter demanding a public school remove its CNY decorations succeeded in garnering so much attention in the cabinet, claiming his name was mentioned 15 times.

He had earlier in the day said this to members of the press when met at the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), where he was slated to give his statement on a separate matter.

This morning, Khairul declared himself victorious after his letter of complaint on the decorations put up at SMK Pusat Bandar Puchong 1 caught the attention of the cabinet and resulted in ministers visiting the school.
