नागरिकता संशोधन कानून पर केंद्रीय मंत्री जितेंद्र सिंह ने साफ किया कि ये कानून जम्मू-कश्मीर में भी लागू होगा और रोहिंग्या शरणार्थियों को यहां से जाना ही होगा. उन्होंने कहा कि रोहिंग्या को जम्मू-कश्मीर से जाना होगा और हम उनके निर्वासन को लेकर पूरी तैयारी करेंगे.
