A red-crowned crane was filmed struggling to stand up on an icy lake when tourists approached it in northern China's Zhalong Nature Reserve.

The funny clip, shot in the city of Qiqihar in Heilongjiang Province on December 18, shows a crane struggling to get back onto its feet on an icy road after seeing a man filming it nearby.

According to a keeper, the crane did not slip up. It meant to lay down onto the ice surface to prepare to attack the people who were approaching it.
