Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has clarified his statement regarding Danish Kaneria, saying his allegation that many did not want the former leg-spinner to be part of the Pakistan team. Shoaib Akhtar said, "There is an unwritten contract that we got to respect every player no matter what. But there was some hesitation shown by a few players but this is not our team's code of conduct."

अपने यूट्यूब चैनल पर शोएब अख्तर ने दानिश कनेरिया के मामले में सफाई पेश की है. अख्तर ने कहा है कि मैं देखना चाहता था कि लोग कैसे रिएक्ट करते हैं. एक दो खिलाड़ी ऐसे थे जो दानिश कनेरिया के साथ गलत तरीके से पेश आए थे. आपको बता दें, पिछले दिन एक चैट शो पर शोएब अख्तर ने कहा था कि हिन्दू होने की वजह से दानिश कनेरिया के साथ भेदभाव हुआ था. अलग धर्म होने की वजह से कुछ खिलाड़ी उनके साथ खाना पसंद नहीं करते थे. ये विवाद सियासी रंग तब लेने लगा जब दानिश कनेरिया ने अपने यूट्यूब चैनल पर कहा कि वो और भी बड़े खुलासे करने वाले हैं. हिन्दू होने की वजह से उनके साथ अनदेखी हुई है.
