If you still have a magnetic stripe ATM-cum-debit card from any bank in india, by the end of the year it will become useless, i.e., the lender will deactivate it. As per RBI guidelines, all bank has replaced all magnetic stripe cards of its customers with EMV chip and PIN based cards.
