Prime Minister Narendra Modi broke the silence on Sunday amid violent protests over the CAA and NRC in many parts of the country. At the Dhanyawad Rally held at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan, PM Modi attacked protesters. He assured that the new law is not meant to take away the citizenship, however, the law is to give the citizenship of India.

देश के कई हिस्सों में जारी सीएए और एनआरसी को लेकर हिसंक प्रदर्शन के बीच रविवार को पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ने चुप्पी तोड़ी। दिल्ली के रामलीला मैदान में आयोजित धन्यवाद रैली में पीएम मोदी ने सीएए और एनआरसी को लेकर हिंसक प्रदर्शन करने वालों को घेरा। उन्होंने भरोसा दिया कि कानून किसी की नागरिकता छीनने के लिए नहीं है, कानून के जरिए भारत की नागरिकता दी जाएगी।
