There had been brutal contrarywide protests againts Citizenship Amendment Act. Kumar Vishwas has expressed concern over the ongoing protests across the country against CAA. He has blamed the political parties for the entire incident and also said that the soul of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi would be weeping with such an atmosphere.

नागरिकता संशोधन कानून के खिलाफ देश भर में विरोध-प्रदर्शन पर हो रहा है. गुरुवार को देश के कई हिस्सों में हिंसक प्रदर्शन हुआ. जगह-जगह पत्‍थरबाजी, आगजनी और तोड़फोड़ की घटनाएं हो रही हैं. पुलिस प्रदर्शन करने वाले लोगों पर लाठियां बरसा रही है. इस पूरे माहौल पर लोकप्रिय कवि डॉ. कुमार विश्वास ने तीखी प्रतिक्रिया दी है। उन्‍होंने इसके लिए सभी राजनीतिक पार्टियों को जिम्‍मेदार ठहराया है. उनका कहना है कि ऐसे माहौल से भारत को सिर्फ भारत ही बचा सकता है. ये सब देखकर राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी की आत्मा रो रही होगी.
