Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on December 19 appealed to the central government to revoke Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), reasoning that there is “fear among all citizens” today due to the deteriorating law and order situation in the country.
“Today, law and order situation in the country is deteriorating. There is a fear among all citizens today. I appeal to the central government to not bring this law but give employment to the youth,” Kejriwal told reporters in Delhi where parts of areas have been put under Section 144 to tackle violent protests against the new citizenship law.
