While speaking to ANI in Bengaluru on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), Congress leader DK Shivakumar said, "Many of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) states have said that it is very difficult to implement this bill. The bill itself is unconstitutional and it is not in the interest of the country." "A government or a political party can’t force any individual to take any religion or practice and what the central government has done is not with the democracy," he added.
