SC Refuses to Stay CAA, Asks Centre to Reply on Pleas Challenging Act

The Supreme Court on Wednesday, 17 December, refused to stay the implementation of Citizenship (Amendment) Act and issued a notice to Centre on a total of 59 PILs challenging the constitutional validity of the new provision.
