The expansion of the Uddhav Thackeray cabinet after the winter session of the assembly in Maharashtra is considered certain. Some big leaders of Congress are lobbying with full force to get a big ministry for themselves. In such a situation, Shiv Sena has now targeted in its mouthpiece 'Saamna' by comparing the former chief ministers of the state Prithviraj Chavan and Ashok Chavan with the 'old pickle' and 'old groom'.

महाराष्ट्र में विधानसभा के शीतकालीन सत्र के बाद उद्धव ठाकरे मंत्रिमंडल का विस्तार होना तय माना जा रहा है. मंत्रिमंडल विस्तार को लेकर कांग्रेस के कुछ बड़े नेता पूरी ताकत के साथ अपने लिए कोई बड़ा मंत्रालय हासिल करने के लिए लॉबिंग कर रहे हैं। ऐसे में अब शिवसेना ने अपने मुखपत्र 'सामना' में राज्य के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्रियों पृथ्वीराज चव्हाण और अशोक चव्हाण की 'पुराने अचार' और 'बूढ़े दूल्हे' से तुलना कर निशाना साधा गया है।सामना' ने अपने संपादकीय में महाराष्ट्र कांग्रेस के दो बड़े नेताओं को कैबिनेट में जगह पाने के लिए जोर आजमाइश के चलते आड़े हाथों लिया है।
