Some Chinese people in San Francisco commemorated the 82nd anniversary of the Nanking massacre in a ceremony on December 8, 2019.  Some of those gathered in the US west coast city claim to be survivors of the mass killings that took place over six weeks following December 13, 1937, when Japanese soldiers invaded the city now known as Nanjing.
