Waterparks is an American rock band that was formed in Houston, Texas back in 2011. The group’s current members include lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Awsten Knight, lead guitarist Geoff Wigington, and drummer Otto Wood. When asked about the band’s general sound, frontman Awsten Knight has stated that he considers the group to be a rock band that has garnered significant inspiration from pop music. The pop punk trio made waves when they were asked by Good Charlotte to be their sole opening act during their 2015 reunion show. They signed with Equal Vision Records in 2015 after releasing two EPs, Airplane Conversations and Black Light. The band recently signed to Hopeless Records and has just recently released their latest album titled Fandom.
