An investigation by The Quint found that four of the tenders under the Mumbai Ahmedabad High Speed Railway (MAHSR) went to firms that have donated to BJP in the past. One such company is Gujarat-based Cube Construction, which gave Rs 55 lakh to BJP. Prime Minister Narendra Modi & BJP President Amit Shah have inaugurated their projects in the past.
