The Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee on Sunday expelled 10 of its senior leaders, including two former state ministers, for a period of six years for allegedly tarnishing the party's image and opposing its leadership's decisions at public forums.
release issued by the disciplinary committee of the UPCC mentions that the former MP Santosh Singh, former state ministers Ramkrishna Dwivedi among with 10 leaders has been expelled from the party for six years.

उत्तर प्रदेश कांग्रेस ने रविवार को अपने दस दिग्गज नेताओं को पार्टी से बाहर जाने का रास्ता दिखा दिया. कांग्रेस ने अनुशासनहीनता के आरोप में अपने इन 10 नेताओं के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की है. कांग्रेस कमेटी ने गुरुवार को पार्टी के 11 वरिष्ठ नेताओं को नोटिस जारी कर 24 घंटे में स्पष्टीकरण मांगा था. लेकिन नेताओं ने नोटिस का जवाब देने से इनकार कर दिया. जिसके बाद अनुशासन समिति ने इन नेताओं को 6 साल के लिए पार्टी से बाहर कर दिया है.
