Pollution covering the city of Delhi has reached such proportions that some residents have resorted to 'buying' clean air from oxygen bars to avoid the toxic smog.
The oxygen bar was launched in May this year in Saket area of Delhi, with treatments lasting for 15 minutes and priced at INR 299 (around £3.22) onwards.
Footage of one such case, filmed on November 16, shows one of the workers explaining the way the whole idea works, from choosing the aroma the customer wishes to provide them 15 minutes of pure oxygen.
He also notes that the tubes are changed with each customer, ensuring the maintenance of hygiene.
The oxygen at this bar even comes in different flavours, including lemongrass, orange, cinnamon, spearmint, peppermint, eucalyptus and lavender.
The air pollution in Delhi has been above safe levels for several weeks, with the pollution authority ordering all schools in the city closed on November 14 and 15.
