Hong Kong Polytechnic University was yet again the scene of clashes between anti-government protesters and police on Sunday November 17, 2019.  Most universities in the city have seen protesters leave and barricades come down, but protesters at PolyU continued their occupation. Water cannons and armoured cars failed to break the deadlock and the violence continued throughout the day.
