President Moon Jae-in has just begun talks with U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley.
According to the presidential office, the discussions will take place at the Blue House for half an hour.
The two sides are likely to continue with the discussions from the SCM earlier today,... exchanging views on some sensitive issues like GSOMIA.
President Moon is expected to reiterate his administration's stance... that its decision to withdraw from the agreement cannot be reversed... unless Tokyo changes its attitude toward their bilateral trade and historical disputes.
Other possible issues include defense cost-sharing for American troops in Korea, as well as joint military exercises.
We'll have more details in our next newscast.
