President Moon Jae-in has received the credentials of 12 newly-appointed foreign envoys.
Receiving the credentials from the ambassadors of the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Thailand, and France, President Moon asked for their crucial role in spreading the work of peace and common prosperity in the region.
Also present was the newly appointed head of mission of the South African Embassy in South Korea, Zenani Mandela-Dlamini, a daughter of the late former South African President Nelson Mandela and who began her stint in Seoul last month.
Japan’s new-coming top envoy-Koji Tomita did not take part in the event today-as he had not officially started his term here, while the outgoing ambassador is yet to finalize his diplomatic duties here in Seoul.
