In a very shocking incident a five-year-old girl and her grandfather received burn injuries after their scooter accidentally ran into a cauldron filled with hot oil on a street in north India.
On November 9 at around 3:00 pm a man, Arvind, travelling with his father, Munna Lal, and his daughter Priyanka came to the Chela Ram sweets shop on Tondon road in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.
The father, seen in the blue shirt, parked his scooter outside the shop, leaving the keys in the ignition, while his daughter and father (the girl's grandfather) waited outside.
The little girl was seated on the scooter and began to play with the handles, before accidentally starting it and sending the scooter running into the stall, and splashing both grandfather and granddaughter with boiling oil from a cooking cauldron.
Munna Lal was discharged with minor injuries while five-year-old Priyanka is still being held in hospital to receive treatment.
