AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday took a jibe at the possibility of a government in Maharashtra where all the three parties viz. Shiv Sena, the Congress and the NCP were trying to join hands to form a grand alliance and agree for a Chief Minister belonging to Sharad Pawar's party, saying, "first of all let them have a Nikaah", After that you will think whether you will have a son or a daughter. Owaisi said that there is no difference between BJP and Shiv Sena. I will not support any of these parties.

महाराष्ट्र में पिछले करीब 20 दिनों से नई सरकार के गठन का रास्ता साफ नहीं हो पाया है. राज्य में नई सरकार के गठन को लेकर गहमा गहमी के बीच ऑल इंडिया मजलिस-ए-इत्तेहादुल मुस्लिमीन के चीफ असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने राज्य की राजनीति पर तंज कसा है. असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने कहा है कि पहले निकाह होगा, उसके बाद सोचेंगे की बेटा होगा या बेटी. ओवैसी ने कहा कि बीजेपी और शिवसेना में कोई अंतर नहीं है. मैं इनमें से किसी भी पार्टी का समर्थन नहीं करूंगा
