Cameroonian Prime Minister Dion Ngute on Saturday paid homage to the 43 people killed by a landslide in the western city of Bafoussam last week.
Ngute paid his respects beside 43 coffins which were laid out at a ceremonial site.
President Paul Biya declared a day of national mourning to mark the disaster which affected more than 150 families.
The landslide was triggered when a heavy downpour struck Gouatchie 4 neighbourhood of Bafoussam on Oct. 28.
