PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang downplayed MCA's opposition to the Islamist party's bid to amend Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965, also known as Act 355, that would allow the partial implementation of hudud.
He said MCA was different from DAP, who fought against it aggressively, as they were not a part of Pakatan Harapan or Barisan Alternatif and had the right to voice out their opinion.
