The shadow health secretary says that he doesn't think that Brexit is in the interests of the NHS. Jonathan Ashworth restated Labour's proposal for a second referendum on Britain's membership of the EU, with a choice between a Labour-negotiated deal and remain. Mr Ashworth said that his party are the "underdogs" in the upcoming general election, adding: "When we make our arguments about the future of the NHS, we can win people's confidence in this election".
