Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said that the 13th National Academic Awards shows how much the government recognises Malaysian academicians, who have made the nation proud across various fields.

He added that the Pakatan Harapan government prioritises education in the process of building a new Malaysia that's inclusive, moderate, and glorious.
