South Korea's ruling Democratic Party has vowed utmost efforts to foster a fair society and an economy where all can co-exist.
In a policy speech at the National Assembly on Monday,... the party's Floor Leader Lee In-young highlighted the need to reform the prosecution and revamp the electoral system in order to achieve those goals.
He said the prosecution's power needs reining in,... and the electoral system needs to better reflect peoples' preferences.
Lee also noted the need to reform parliament in order to prevent boycotts and deadlocks caused by partisan wrangling.
He added the National Assembly needs to step up legislative activity to support next year's expansionary budget in order to boost the economy.
