Some gruesome news out of the UK... as British police have found dozens of dead bodies inside a truck at an industrial estate near London.
Kim Da-mi has the details.
One of the UK's biggest murder inquiries was launched on Wednesday, after 39 dead bodies were found inside a truck container at an industrial estate in Essex.
The victims include 38 adults and a teenager.
The driver, a 25-year-old man from Northern Ireland, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
According to British local media, post-mortem examinations indicated that the deaths were due to respiratory failure through asphyxiation.
"At this stage, we have not identified where the victims are from or their identities, and we anticipate this could be a lengthy process."
Police said the trailer had travelled from Belgium to Furfleet in the UK early Wednesday morning local time,... when ambulance services notified police about the grim discovery.
The Bulgarian foreign ministry confirmed that the truck was registered in the country under the name of a company owned by an Irish woman
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he was "appalled by the incident" and that the perpetrators "should be hunted down and brought to justice."
The UK's National Crime Agency confirmed they are assisting Essex Police and Immigration Enforcement to "urgently identify any organized crime groups" who may be involved.
For years, migrants have attempted to enter the UK illegally in the back of trucks from the European mainland.
Back in 2000, 58 Chinese migrants were found dead, crammed into a tomato truck in Dover.
