The seat of Baramati is counted in the VVIP because it is considered the seat of the Pawar family. This time this seat is also in discussion. Because of this seat NCP has Ajit Pawar in the fray, while Gopichand Padalkar of BJP is contesting him. The same family has won this seat for the last 52 years.
